Richard Steven Maier

Richard Steven Maier, age 51, of Bellefontaine, Ohio passed away Monday, November 20, 2017, at his residence. He was born in Bellefontaine December 4, 1965, the son of the late Robert S. and Betty Jo Maier.

He is survived by a sister, Sherry (Brad) Wilkins of Bellefontaine; a brother, Scott (Shannon) Maier of West Liberty, Ohio; an aunt, many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Richard was a 1984 graduate of Bellefontaine High School and worked in the cable television industry. He enjoyed being outdoors. His interests included fishing, hunting, and morel mushroom hunting. He also loved to play disc golf.

Richard's wishes were to be cremated. Private services will be held at a later date.

The arrangements are in the care of the staff of the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Bellefontaine.
