Ricky Saunders

Biography

Ricky W. Saunders, age 56, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, April 9, 2014, at Heartland of Bellefontaine.

He was born January 21, 1958 in Sidney, Ohio, a son of the late Forrest Saunders and June (Poling) Coil who survives in Bellefontaine. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Gregory Coil.

Survivors also include a daughter, April (Tim) Hites of Bellefontaine; a son, Aaron Saunders of Springfield, Missouri; two grandchildren, Bryce and Tyler Jackson; sisters, Bonnie Conley of Huntsville, Ohio, Becky Coy of Bellefontaine; brothers, Ed Saunders of Springfield, Ohio, David Saunders of Lima, Ohio, Joe (Carol) Ransbottom, Bill Ransbottom, Tony Ransbottom all of Bellefontaine, Mike Ransbottom of Tipp City, Ohio and Jason (Tabitha) Coil of Bellefontaine.

He worked at Krogers and Wal Mart.

Ricky was a United States Army Veteran and attended the Vineyard Church. He was also a member of the Elks and enjoyed fishing and playing cards.

Per Mr. Saunders request, his body was cremated. Services will be held at a later date.

The staff of the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine assisted the family with arrangements.
