Robert (Bob) L. Faber, age 70, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away Wednesday evening, November 19, 2014. He was born in Logan County Ohio March 24, 1944, to the late Ralph and Hazel (Worst) Faber.

Bob is survived by his wife of forty years, Jane (Reed) Faber, whom he married August 16, 1974. He is also survived by his children, Sydney (Josh) Kaeck of Roundhead, Ohio, Brian Linnean of Wilmington, Ohio, and Susanne (Danny) Best of McConnelsville, Ohio; six grandchildren, Zoey Kaeck, Blaize Faber, Chase Bell, Austin Bell, Logan Garrett and Reed Garrett; a brother, Jim (Bonnie) Faber of Leesburg, Florida and numerous friends to include Brian Johnson, Scott Stewart, Bill Armstrong, Rick Herring and Bill Badenhop.

Bob was a devoted and loyal employee of Bellefontaine City Schools as a custodian for the past thirty seven years. Bob was the last custodian of Pine Avenue School Building. He was also employed as a plumber, a fireman for Conrail Rail Systems and the owner of a greenhouse. Although retired from Bellefontaine City Schools, Bob continued to operate Nuisance Wildlife Control Services throughout his illness.

Bob will always be remembered as an avid outdoor sportsman. Fishing, hunting and trapping were his passions for the past sixty plus years. He was a life-member of the NRA, a former member of the Rushcreek Sportsman Club and a member of the Logan County Fish and Game.

Pastor A.W. Purdin will officiate the memorial service Sunday, November 23, 2014, at 4 P.M. at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine where visitation will be held two hours prior to the service.
