Robert Lloyd Farrington

Robert Lloyd “Bob” Farrington, 73, of Bellefontaine, passed away at 11:25 p.m. on Thursday, March 8, 2018 at home surrounded by his family. He was born in Hardin County, Ohio on January 25, 1945 to the late Harold and Gladys (Brooks) Farrington.

On January 16, 1965 Bob married the former Nancy Britton in Union County, Ohio and she survives, along with their daughter, Shelly (Vic) Anderson; son Brian Farrington; three step-grandchildren; eight step-great grandchildren; a brother, Dallas (Peg) Farrington; a sister-in-law, Judy Farrington; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by; two sisters, Irene Grabiel and Betty Kennedy; and five brothers, Murl Farrington, Dick Farrington, Russell Farrington, James Farrington, and an infant brother Harold Farrington Jr.

A member of Bellefontaine Moose Lodge #2563, Bob had worked as a machine operator at DAB for 43 years.

The family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. on Monday, March 12, 2018 at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 321 N. Main Street, Bellefontaine. Pastor Mike Roberts will officiate a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 13th at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Byhalia Cemetery in Union County, Ohio
