Robert D. Griffin

Robert “Bobby” D. Griffin, age 71, of Tiffin, Ohio passed away at 9:52 a.m. Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at Mercy Hospital of Tiffin.

He was born in Hardin County Ohio September 26, 1948, to the late James Carl Griffin and Ada Marie (Bell) Griffin who survives in Belle Center, Ohio.

He is also survived by his sisters, Janet Britton, and Cindy (Bill) Stratton, both of Belle Center; a brother, Ron Griffin of Belle Center; nieces, Melinda (Terry Grubbs) Frazier, Stephanie (Lester) Snyder, and Heather (Trevor) Melton; great nieces and nephew, Brianna Frazier, Kylie Frazier, Samantha Houdashelt, Lauren Snyder, Kayla Snyder and Logan Grubbs.

In Bobby’s younger years he was very active and enjoyed running.  His smile told you everything, especially if he was up to mischief.  Bobby enjoyed having midnight snacks that his mother would make for him.  He loved being a part of the Tiffin Developmental Center yearly Half Miler and Miler.  Bobby enjoyed his “assisted” half-mile each year. All who loved and knew Bobby will miss him.

The family will hold a private service for Bobby.

The arrangements are in the care of the staff of the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home in Belle Center.
