Robert McJunkin

Robert W. McJunkin, age 48, of Jackson Center, Ohio, passed away Friday, June 13, 2014 at Wilson Memorial Hospital in Sidney Ohio.

He was born in Lima, Ohio July 27, 1965, to the late Russell Vernon McJunkin and Patsy Ruth (Henderson) McJunkin who survives in Botkins, Ohio. He was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Ember Smith.

On May 14, 1989, he married the former Debra Sheeley and she survives.

He is also survived by his three children, James Sheeley of Jackson Center, Margie (Doug) Mercado of Cincinnati, Ohio and Heather McJunkin of Jackson Center; two grandsons, James Smith and Emmett Walker; a sister, Becky (Nicholas) Steinke of Sidney; three brothers, Russell V. (Jeanie) McJunkin Jr. of Botkins, Joseph (Michele) McJunkin of St. Marys, Ohio and Joshua (Alicia) McJunkin of Botkins; his mother-in-law, Frances Schroer of Russells Point, Ohio; a brother-in-law, Richard Sheeley of Russells Point, Ohio, and many nieces and nephews.

A United States Army Veteran, Bob worked at AAP in St. Marys and was a life-time member of the AMVETS Doyle R. Miller Post #39 in Lakeview, Ohio. He enjoyed skeet shooting and spending time with his children and friends.

Pastor Tim Bartee will officiate the funeral service at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, June 18, 2014, at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home in Jackson Center. Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral service. Interment will be at the Dayton National Veteran’s Cemetery in Dayton, Ohio at the convenience of the family.

The funeral arrangements were in the care of the staff of the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home in Jackson Center.
