A US Navy veteran, Robert went on active duty August 14, 1952, was released from duty on September 5, 1954, and obtained the rank of Petty Officer Third Class Communications Technician. Robert worked for over 40 years at National Extrusion Manufacturing, he started as a draftsman, worked up to Vice-President, and retired after serving as President for nearly 10 years.
Robert and Patricia enjoyed spending time watching nature and the eagles around Indian Lake. His life was centered around his family, working around the house, and he was always there when the family needed him. Robert took great pride in being dedicated to his job and his family. As his kids say, “We love him, he was the best husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather we could have.”
