Robert "Rob" William Givens

Robert “Rob” William Givens, 65, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away on Friday, October 28, 2022, at the Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. He was born in Bellefontaine on April 27, 1957, to the late William Perry and Evelyn May (Stanford) Givens.

He is survived by his son, Chance Givens; Chance’s mother, Cynthia Padgitt; siblings: Cathy (Keith) LeVan, Deb (Joe) Clem, Brenda (Nick Phillips) McMillen, Chris (Dawn) Givens; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins, and friends; and his horse, Amber.

Rob was a 1975 graduate from Benjamin Logan High School and retired from Honda after 30+ years. He had a love for all things horse related. He owned several horses throughout his life, Amber being his most recent. He enjoyed training horses and competing them. He went to horse shows, horse races and was a member of the American Quarter Horse Association for many years. Above all, he loved his family very much and enjoyed spending time with them.

Max Jackson will officiate a funeral service at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 6, 2022, at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 321 N. Main Street, Bellefontaine. Visitation will be one hour prior from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Rushsylvania Cemetery.
