Robert Park Shoe

Robert Park Shoe, age 76, of DeGraff, Ohio passed away at 8:45 p.m. Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at Green Hills Community in West Liberty, Ohio.

He was born September 9, 1944, a son of the late Raymond Park and Mildred (Byler) Shoe.

On December 4, 1965, Robert married the former Mary Ann Strasser in Logansville, Ohio and she preceded him in death November 6, 2019.

Robert is survived by his three children, Becky (Gloyd) Shaw of Bellefontaine, Ohio, Roberta (Darrell) Porter and Mark Shoe, both of DeGraff; four grandchildren, Christina Porter, Nathan Shaw, Zachary (Anna) Shaw and Michaela Shaw; three brothers, Donald (Bobbi) Shoe of Belleville, Illinois, John (Ruth) Shoe and Jim (Nancy) Shoe, both of DeGraff and many nieces and nephews.

A lifelong farmer, Robert loved working on his farm and gardening. He considered himself a “redneck engineer” who enjoyed tinkering and fixing things.

The family would like to express their deepest appreciation to everyone for their prayers and to the staff of Green Hills for the excellent care they provided to Robert.

The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, October 17, 2020 at the Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, in DeGraff, where Pastor Paul Kirkpatrick will officiate the funeral service at 11:00 a.m.

Burial will be at the Greenwood-Union Cemetery in DeGraff at a later date.

The staff of the Daring & Sanford Funeral Home in DeGraff is honored to serve the Shoe family.
