Robert H. Small

Robert H. “Bob” Small, age 81, of Bellefontaine, Ohio passed away Thursday afternoon, November 22, 2018 at his home. 

He was born in Zanesfield, Ohio June 25, 1937, to the late Willard R. and Helen (Hewlings) Small.  Bob was also preceded in death by an infant daughter, Sandra Kay Small; a daughter, Cindy Small and three brothers William, John, and James Small.

Bob worked in the shipping department at National Extrusion for 40 plus years before retiring.  He thoroughly enjoyed the local stock car scene over the years.  Bob loved his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Bob is survived by his wife, Betty Jean (Nicholson) Small whom he married April 3, 1998.  He is also survived by daughters, Debby (Bob) Gladd of Columbus, Ohio, Tammy Durnell of Bellefontaine, Terri Howard of Troy, Ohio and Lisa (Shane) Clark of Houston, Texas; four grandchildren, Brandy Durnell, Lanny Durnell, Dominic Durnell, and Catana Thomas; three great-grandchildren, Daniel, Lauren, and Alexander; sisters Florence Hostetler of Fremont, Indiana and Mary (Fred) Woerlein of Marion, Ohio and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, November 29, 2018 at the Zanesfield Cemetery at 2 P.M.

The arrangements are being handled by the staff of the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Bellefontaine.
