Robert Teets

Biography

Robert G. Teets, 90, of Jackson Center passed away at 8:35 p.m. on Monday, June 22, 2015 at Wapakoneta Manor in Wapakoneta, Ohio. He was born in New Castle, Pennsylvania on April 22, 1925 to the late William S. and Elizabeth R. (Hittenberger) Teets.

On June 2, 1947 he married the former Betty J. Brown, and she survives. He is also survived by his three children, Sharon Kathleen Masarik of Jackson Center, Deborah Denise Thompson of Nevada and Johnrobert James Teets of Lakeview; six grandchildren; six great grandchildren; a sister, Eleanor Reynolds of Pennsylvania; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A U.S. Army WWII veteran and purple heart recipient, Bob retired from Dayton Power & Light Company and the Jackson Center Police Department. He was a member of the Jackson Center United Methodist Church, a 60 year member of the Jackson Center Lodge #458 F&AM and Antioch Shrine of Dayton, member of the Scottish Rite Valley of Dayton and V.F.W.

A private committal service will be held at Lima Memorial Park Cemetery in Lima, Ohio at the convenience of the family.

Funeral arrangements are in the care of the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home in Jackson Center.
