Robert Lew Westlake, 81, of DeGraff, passed away Saturday, November 21, 2020 at his home.
He was born on March 21, 1939 in South Charleston, Ohio, the son of the late Robert W. and Sylvia Rose (Knisley) Westlake. He was also preceded in death by his son, Brian Edward Westlake on November 12, 2020.
Robert is survived by a son, Steven Paul (Judy) Westlake and a daughter, Lisa Ann (Rodney Hubble) Westlake, two grandsons, Devon Edward Westlake and Hunter Pierce Hubble, a step-granddaughter, Tiffany Vanhoose, and two step-grandsons, David Vanhoose and Derek Vanhoose.
Robert went to school at Southeastern Schools in Clark County and then went to work for International Harvester in Springfield. He later joined and served in the U.S. Navy. After his honorable discharge from the Navy, he returned to Navistar and began farming. He later retired from Navistar and continued farming.
Per Robert’s request, there will be no public services and private inurnment will be in Dayton National Cemetery.
