Robert Thomas White, Jr., 65, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away late Monday, July 29, 2013 at his residence.
He was born November 22, 1947, a son of the late Robert Thomas Sr. and Eunice Irene (Cordle) White.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Robbin Marie White; a sister, Betty Auflick; a brother, Rocky White; and a brother in law, Ray Schrader.
He is survived by four sisters, Patty (Ted) Swainhart of Perrysville, Ohio, Tommie Sue Schrader of Columbus, Ohio, Anna (Tony) Coder of Bellefontaine, and Tammie (Keith) Ellison of Texarkana, Arkansas; one brother, Michael (Cindy) White of De Graff, Ohio; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friends, Virgil and Marge Fryling and AJ Galo.
Robert was a United States Army Veteran serving his country in Vietnam and because of injuries suffered during his service, he was a Disabled Veteran.
He was a member of the American Legion Harold Kerr Post #173 and also the V.F.W., Frank D. Castle Post #1080, both of Bellefontaine. He enjoyed shooting pool, hunting, fishing, and traveling.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 P.M. Sunday, August 4, 2013, at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine with Pastor Virgil Fryling officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Sunday at the funeral home. Military honors will be provided by the Logan County Veteran Honor Guard. A private interment will he held at a later date.
