Robert Thomas Williams Jr.

Robert Thomas Williams Jr., age 83, of Bellefontaine, Ohio passed away Sunday, February 11, 2018 at Grant Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio.

He was born in Columbus December 24, 1934, the son of the late Robert T. and Alfreda L. (Parsons) Williams.

On February 19, 1958, he married Nancy L. Borror and she preceded him in death August 2, 2012. He was also preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Terri Lynn Williams in 2016.

He is survived by three sons, Robert T. (Melinda) Williams III of Bellefontaine, Steven E. (Iya) Williams of Huntsville, Ohio and Michael A. (Suzanne) Williams of Powell, Ohio; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and a brother, Edward Charles (Linda) Williams of Marblehead, Ohio.

Robert served as a Corporal in the United States Marine Corps and worked as a Columbus City Police Officer for twenty seven and a half years. After retirement, he enjoyed playing golf and traveling with his wife and family, especially to Hawaii where he visited numerous times.

Pastor Bryan Meadows will officiate the funeral service at 11:00 A.M. Friday, February 16, 2018 at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Bellefontaine.

Burial will be at the Sunset Cemetery near Galloway, Ohio.
