Roberta Kessler

Roberta Jean Kessler, 89, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at Logan Acres Care Center in Bellefontaine. She was born November 2, 1922, in Claypool, Indiana to the late Edwin D. and Lena H. (Hatfield) Reed.

She is survived by her husband, Albert John Kessler, whom she married April 3, 1976 in Bellefontaine. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Joseph H., Dwight H., and Lowell Reed.

Roberta retired from the Bell Telephone Company. A 1945 graduate of Claypool High School, she was a member of the St. Patrick Catholic Church in Bellefontaine, North Manchester Indiana Moose Club and Past President of the Bellefontaine V.F.W. Auxiliary Post #1080.

Calling hours are Sunday, January 8, 2012 from 2 to 4 P.M. at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine. A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday, January 9, 2011 at the St. Patrick Catholic Church in Bellefontaine with Rev. Patrick Sheridan officiating. Interment will follow the mass at the Bellefontaine Cemetery in Bellefontaine.
