Roger Henson

Roger Warren Henson, 55, of Lakeview, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2009 as a result of an automobile accident. He was born February 15, 1954, to the late Curtis B. Henson and Jane A. (Leach) Henson and she survives in Lewistown, Ohio.

He is survived by his wife, Sheryl R. (Douglas) Henson, whom he married September 30, 1986, in Moraine, Ohio. Also surviving is a brother, Randall (Debra) Henson of Belle Center, Ohio; two sisters, Rebecca Conrady of Russells Point, Ohio, and Renetta (Ken) Jacob of Livonia, Michigan; six aunts, two uncles, nine nieces and nephews and two great nephews.

Roger worked in construction for more than 25 years, and also worked at the La Pizzeria in Huntsville and the Village Pantry in Russells Point.

He graduated in 1972 from Belmont High School in Dayton and enjoyed building and working with wood. He also enjoyed watching NASCAR and baseball.

Pastor Fred Clogg will conduct the funeral service at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, June 27, 2009, at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine, where friends may call Saturday from 11 to 1 prior to the service. Burial will follow the funeral service in the Ferncliff Cemetery, Springfield, Ohio.
