Romaloy Diane Hussey, 70, formerly of Bellevue passed away Sunday morning, May 3, 2015 at her son’s home. She was born in Scott City, Kansas on July 11, 1944 to the late Willie and Alice I. (Keyse) Edwards. Diane married Thomas W. Hussey on February 15, 1969 in Flat Rock, Ohio and he preceded her in death on July 6, 2008. She was also preceded in death by an infant daughter Anna Marie Hussey in 1974.

A 1963 graduate of Thompson Twp. School in Fireside, Ohio, Diane grew up working on a neighbor’s farm and loved all animals, especially horses. She was a former member of Triangle-G Saddle Club of Fremont and was a lifetime alumni member of Bellevue FFA. Diane was also a former 4-H Advisor. She worked at Periodical Publishers Service Bureau in Sandusky for 25 years and then worked for Central Ohio Energy in Mansfield.

Diane is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, James and Cathy Hussey of Rushsylvania; two grandchildren: Jeffrey “JT” Thomas Hussey and Jacqualine Marie Hussey, both at home; a sister Janet Nickell of Bellevue; a brother Roger Edwards of Clyde; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, Bellefontaine on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 from 6-8pm with a funeral service at 8pm conducted by Pastor Matt Sandlin. There will also be a funeral on Saturday, May 9, 2015 at 2:00 pm at the Evans Funeral Home in Florala, Alabama. Burial will be in Svea Cemetery in Okaloosa County, Florida.
