Ronald D. Van Hoose, 61, of Delaware, Ohio passed away at 5:50 a.m. on Friday, August 7, 2015 at Kobacker House in Columbus, Ohio. He was born in Bellefontaine, Ohio on December 30, 1953 to the late Dewey and Dorothy (Smith) Van Hoose. He was also preceded in death by six siblings, Dewey Jr., Mary Lou, Marion, Lula Mae, Patricia and Robert.
Ronald is survived by his two daughters, Rhonda (Rick) Kline of Marysville and Michelle (T.J.) Esch of West Liberty; two grandchildren, Taylor Smith and Harley Fuerst; two sisters, Rebecca (Gary) Barger and Diana Horsley, both of West Liberty; three brothers, Don (Pauline) Van Hoose of Orlando, Florida, Steve (Ann) Van Hoose of Cross City, Florida and Michael January of Clermont, Florida; and several nieces and nephews.
After graduating from West Liberty-Salem High School in 1972, Ronald attended mechanical schooling in Cincinnati for a couple of years. He worked in injection molding maintenance for several years at Drackett in Urbana, and most recently for Core Molding in Columbus. Ronald possessed and easy-going personality, was an avid Cincinnati Bengals fan and enjoyed fishing.
A memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, 101 Zanesfield Road, West Liberty. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2-5 p.m. at the funeral home.
