Ronda Jean Doehrmann, 52, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away from melanoma Friday, May 11, 2012 in her home.
Ronda was born February 2, 1960 in Wauseon, Ohio, the youngest daughter of the late Donald and Fern (Stuckey) Wyse.
She is survived by her husband, Noel “Tony” Doehrmann, whom she married May 19, 1979 in Archbold, Ohio. Also surviving are three children, Brady (Barry) Hoylman of Pettisville, Ohio, Jacob (Kasey) Doehrmann of Archbold, Ohio, and Eli Doehrmann of Fayette, Ohio; two grandchildren, Macy and Kobe Hoylman of Pettisville, Ohio; a brother, Ross (Karen) Wyse of Archbold, Ohio, and a sister, Roxanne (Neal) Kauffman of Joliet, Illinois.
Ronda was preceded in death by her brother, Byron.
Ronda lived and worked in the Archbold area at The Home Restaurant, Sauder Woodworking and later stayed home raising her children. Her love for people equipped her to care for the children of others in her home and later to assist the elderly in their homes. In 2006, she moved with her husband to Hesston, Kansas where she worked at a child care facility. In 2008, they moved to Bellefontaine, where they began serving at the Jubilee Mennonite Church. Ronda was a former member at the Lockport Mennonite Church in Stryker, Ohio and a covenant member of the Jubilee Mennonite Church in Bellefontaine, Ohio.
Pastor John Thomas will officiate the 10:30 A.M. funeral service Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at the Jubilee Mennonite Church 169 CR 32 N in Bellefontaine, where calling hours are Tuesday, May 15, 2012 from 2 to 5 P.M. and 6 to 9 P.M.
An additional memorial service will be held at 4:00 P.M. Sunday, May 20, 2012, at the Lockport Mennonite Church in Stryker, Ohio with a visitation two hours prior. Interment will follow in the Lockport Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Universal Home Health Hospice or the Jubilee Mennonite Church.
The staff of the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine handled the arrangements.
