Rosetta Burkholder, 66, of US 68 North Bellefontaine, Ohio passed away Wednesday, April 19, 2017, at her daughter’s home following a six-month battle with cancer.
She was born in Bremen, Indiana June 25, 1950, the daughter of Gilbert D. and Etta Ferne (Yoder) Miller.
On May 1, 1969, she married Carl Burkholder in Nappanee, Indiana.
She accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior in her youth and was a faithful member of the Belle Center Amish Church.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by ten children, Ann Marie (Joseph) Miller of Houstonia, Missouri, Nathan, of the home, Philip (Eleanor) of Rushsylvania, Ohio, Janet (James) Miller of Huntsville, Ohio, Thomas (Susan) Burkholder of Rushsylvania; Rachel (Timothy) Gingerich of Rushsylvania, Amelia (Leroy) Weaver of Sarasota, Florida, Abigail (Elvin) Kropf of Houstonia, Missouri, Micah of the home, and Bethany of Sarasota.
She was preceded in death by her father, Gilbert D. Miller and an infant sister, Esther Marie.
Visitation will be held Thursday, April 20, 2017, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. and again Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. at the Mahlon Coblentz Residence 7443 Co. Rd. 49 in Belle Center, Ohio. Bishop David Yoder will officiate the funeral service Saturday, April 22, 2017 at 9:30 A.M. at the same residence. Burial will be in the Belle Center Amish Cemetery.
The Burkholder family wishes to express their heartfelt appreciation for the prayers and many kind deeds done for them during this time.
