Rosie Shinkle

Rosie M. Shinkle, 90, went to be with her Lord Sunday, November 13, 2011 in Loveland, Colorado. She was born September 10, 1921, in Covington, Kentucky to the late Harry M. and Jessie G. (Chipman) Tomlin. She was also preceded in death by 6 siblings.

On November 22, 1947, she married Ralph F. Shinkle and he preceded her in death February 10, 1987.

Survivors include her children, Vonnetie Kanagy of Colorado, Linda R. Smith of Florida and Melvin R. Shinkle of Bellefontaine, Ohio; two grandsons, Mark (Kifi) Kanagy and Nathan Shinkle; 4 great-grandchildren, Makiah and Aleah Kanagy, Destiny and Tyler Shinkle; a sister-in-law, Ethel Shinkle of Bellefontaine and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was a former longtime member of the Nazarene Church in Bellefontaine and will be greatly missed by all who knew her, were touched by her life and loved her.

The funeral service will be held Monday, November 21, 2011, at 2:00 P.M. at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine, where friends may call two hours prior to the service starting at noon.

Interment will be at the Highland Memorial Cemetery Mausoleum in West Liberty, Ohio.
