Ruby Pauline Culp, 93, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away Monday, June 6, 2011, at the Green Hills Inn in West Liberty, Ohio. She was born November 24, 1917 in Logan County, Ohio to the late Milton and Nellie Victoria (Ammons) Jacobs.
On August 29, 1939, she married Emory K. Dutch Culp in Richmond, Indiana, and he preceded her in death May 16, 1981. Also preceding her in death were her siblings, Cecil Jacobs and Peg Moon.
Surviving is a son, Jack E. (Coleen) Culp of Columbus, Ohio; daughters, Shirley M. (Eugene) Saxton of Maggie Valley, North Carolina and Jean Ann (Emil) Toriello of Bellefontaine; her twin sister, Maxine Willoby of Bellefontaine, and thirteen grandchildren and twenty four great grandchildren.
A 1935 Bellefontaine High School graduate, Pauline retired from Citizens Federal Savings and Loan in Bellefontaine after thirty eight years of service. She was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Bellefontaine and the Mary Rutan Hospital Guild.
Calling hours are from 6 to 8 P.M. Wednesday, June 8, 2011 at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine. Pastor Jonathon Bull will conduct the 10:00 A.M. funeral service Thursday, June 9, 2011 at the First Lutheran Church in Bellefontaine. Interment will be at the Bellefontaine Cemetery in Bellefontaine, Ohio.
