Ruby Smucker
Ruby Isabel Smucker, 95, of West Liberty, Ohio, passed away at 6:51 P.M. Saturday, May 18, 2013, at Mary Rutan Hospital in Bellefontaine, Ohio. She was born in Champaign County Ohio August 16, 1917, to the late C.S. and Ida Belle Yoder Smucker.
She is survived by her sister Christina Smucker of West Liberty; three nephews, Kingsley King of Newark, Delaware, Nolan (Lois) King of Urbana, Ohio and Nathaniel (Pam) King of West Liberty, and numerous great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister Irene Smucker and a niece, Picolia King.
Isabel was a very talented artist who was well known throughout the community for her painting, tapestry and hand-weaving abilities.
Wes Yoder will officiate a graveside service at 10:00 A.M. Friday, May 24, 2013, at the Oak Grove Cemetery in West Liberty.
The staff of the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home in West Liberty handled the arrangements for the family.
