Russell Wise

Russell Dale Wise, 58, of Ocala, Florida and formerly of Jackson Center, Ohio passed away Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at Ocala Regional Medical Center.

He was born in Sidney, Ohio July 11, 1955, to the late George E. and Agnes L. (Blakley) Wise.

Russell is survived by his wife, Shelly C. (Wireman) Wise, whom he married November 12, 1997, in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. She currently resides in Ocala, Florida. He is also survived by his daughter, Rachael L. Wise (Franky D. Sargent) and grandchildren, Brodie D. and Chloe M. Sargent of Sidney, Ohio; a sister, Bernice (Kenny) Parish of Springfield, Ohio; brothers, Robert (Helen) Wise, Roger (Violet) Wise, Ronald (Linda) Wise, Roy (Kathy) Wise, Randy (Glenda) Wise all of Sidney and Ralph (Terri) Wise of Columbus, Ohio; his father and mother-in-law, Jerry R. and Linda I. Wireman; brother-in-laws, Jeffery R. Wireman and Michael D. Diglia and a sister-in-law, Sheryl L. Diglia, all of Lima, Ohio. Russell is also survived by numerous beloved nieces and nephews, and numerous great nieces and nephews.

Russell was a 1973 graduate of Jackson Center High School and retired from Monarch Machines in Sidney, Ohio as a Service Representative.

Russ loved spending time with family and friends. He enjoyed living in Florida during his retirement and spending time outdoors with his dog, Sassie. Russ was an avid traveler and sports fan for Ohio. He loved to coach basketball. Russ was graciously a tissue and organ donor.

Calling hours will be held at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home in Jackson Center Wednesday, December 11, 2013 from 2 to 4 P.M. and 6 to 8 P.M. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home Thursday, December 12, 2013 at 11 A.M. Interment will be at the Glen Cemetery in Port Jefferson, Ohio.
