Ruth Beech

Ruth Ann Beech, age 76, of Huntsville, Ohio, passed away Monday, August 25, 2014 at The Gables at Green Pastures in Marysville, Ohio.

She was born in Bellefontaine, Ohio May 26, 1938, a daughter of the late Gail and Freda (Stahler) Alloway.

She married Roger Beech August 31, 1956 in the Huntsville United Methodist Church, and he preceded her in death May 13, 2014. She was also preceded in death by her two sisters, Donna Hasty and Vickie Creviston; two brothers, Gail (Betty) and Bob Alloway, and a sister-in-law, Cheryl Beech.

She is survived by a daughter, Cindy (Jeff) Vesco of Pickerington, Ohio and a son, Jim (Denise) Beech of West Mansfield, Ohio; five grandchildren, Nicole, Zachery, and Morgan Vesco, Katrise (Alex Rhoades) and Kodrey Beech; two great grandchildren, Jacob and Kyleigh; a sister, Linda Hill of Bellefontaine; two sisters-in-law, Wilma Beech of Sidney, Ohio and Judy Alloway of Kenton, Ohio; a brother-in-law, Bob Beech of Belle Center, Ohio and many nieces, nephews, cousins and other close friends and relatives.

Ruth Ann was a 1956 graduate of Huntsville High School. She retired as Head Cook from Indian Lake Schools, where she had twenty eight years of service. She was a lifetime member of the Huntsville United Methodist Church where she was active with the Connecting Links committee. She enjoyed sewing, going on bus trips as well as painting and working with crafts. She loved to attend her grandchildren’s activities and sporting events and the family get-togethers that usually included playing cards.

Pastor Bryan Meadows will officiate a memorial service at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, September 6, 2014, at the Huntsville United Methodist Church. Visitation will be held at the church one hour prior to the memorial service. Interment will follow at the Huntsville Cemetery.

The staff of the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine handled the arrangements.
