Ruth Grace Nettleingham

Ruth Grace (Cruver) Nettleingham, age 87, of Bellefontaine, Ohio went to be with her Lord and family at 1:20 A.M. Saturday, September 2, 2017 at her home. She was born in Somerset County Hospital in New Jersey September 15, 1929, to the late Elwood and Grace (Snyder) Cruver. She was also preceded in death by a son, Richard David Nettleingham and three brothers, Donald, William and Robert Cruver.

Ruth is survived by her husband Richard “Dick” Nettleingham. They were married April 22, 1972 and had forty five years of life together. Ruth was a tiny lady with a giant heart whose love helped to blend two families into one. Their blended family consisted of their children, Gary C. (Robin) Smith, Belinda G. Savage, Joan E.  Nettleingham, Dawn M. (Keith) Ryan, and Melissa K. (Greg) Bohrer; thirteen grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; several great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Ruth was a member of the Lewistown Trinity United Methodist Church and loved to let the Lord shine through her. She loved to volunteer her time to the church and other local and community organizations wherever she felt she was needed whether baking cookies for fund raisers, as a Sunday school teacher or many of the other things she loved to do too numerous to mention and in doing so, she touched and changed many lives.

Pastor Debra S. Ketcham will officiate the funeral service at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at the Lewistown Trinity United Methodist Church in Lewistown, Ohio, where visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2 P.M. prior to the service. Burial will be at the Pillar of Fire Cemetery in Zaraphath, New Jersey.

The funeral arrangements are in care of the staff of the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Bellefontaine.
