Ruth Nevers

Ruth Irene (Davidson) Nevers, 75, of Bellefontaine passed away Saturday afternoon, February 28, 2015 at St. Rita’s Medical Center, Lima. She was born in Clark County on January 28, 1940 to the late Robert William and Mary Ellen (Bosler) Davidson. She was also preceded in death by two sisters Mary (Davidson) Kerns and Betty (Davidson) Ashby, two brothers Donald Davidson and James Davidson, and a great-grandson Jacob Kobylook.

Ruth worked many years at the former YMCA / Railroad in the restaurant and hotel. She enjoyed cats and had helped with the local Girl Scouts.

Ruth is survived by her daughters, Audrey (Steve) Moody of DeGraff and Sherry (Tim) Tilton of Bellefontaine; 7 grandchildren: Kristel Forsythe, Nicole Vagedes, Emily Tilton, Brad (Lori) Tilton, Steven (Jamaica) Moody, Chris (Gwen) Moody and Adam Moody; 4 great-grandchildren Leesha (Robert) Herring, Michael Taitt, Joshua and Justin Ritzma; three brothers Russell Davidson of West Liberty, Frances Davidson of Austin, Texas and David Davidson of Conroe, Texas; and special friend of the family Tony Agner.

Pastor Ron Irick will officiate the funeral service on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at 12 noon at the First Church of God, Bellefontaine where visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Huntsville Cemetery.
