Ruth E. Worley

Ruth E. Worley, age 98, of Belle Center, Ohio passed away at 5:05 P.M. Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at The Homestead at Logan Acres in Bellefontaine, Ohio. She was born, the youngest of eight children, in Webster, Ohio June 26, 1919, to late Daniel M. and Lucy (Byrd) Hardman.

On April 5, 1947, Ruth married R. Lester Worley in Webster, Ohio and he preceded her in death March 6, 1994.

Ruth is survived by her two daughters, Maureen (Gregory) Yoder and Melanie (Dennis) Fry; eight grandchildren, Gavin (Kristen) Yoder, Colin (Carrie) Yoder, Dr. Grant (Dr. Elizabeth) Yoder, Drew (Signe Anderson) Yoder, Andrew (Kyra) Fry, Zane (Caitlin) Fry, and Joel (Andrea) Fry; ten great grandchildren, Mullaney, Ethan, Liam, Carter, Caden, Leo, Dagny, and Ingrid Yoder, Alexa, and Emmett Fry and a niece and a nephew.

A homemaker, Ruth was a member of the Belle Center United Methodist Church where she was a member of the Women’s Society. She was also a member of O.E.S. Chapter #459 in Bellefontaine and the American Legion Auxiliary. Ruth enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and reading in her spare time.

Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 P.M. Sunday, January 21, 2018 at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home in Belle Center.

A graveside service will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. Monday, January 22, 2018 at the Highland Cemetery in Covington, Ohio.

Later in the day on Monday, Pastor Kevin Smith will officiate a memorial service at 1:30 P.M. at the Belle Center United Methodist Church in Belle Center.

The arrangements are in the care of the staff of the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home in Belle Center.
