Ryan Porter

Ryan Michael Porter, 42, of Bellefontaine, passed away at his home on Sunday, December 27, 2015.

He was born on June 23, 1973 in Richmond, Indiana, a son of Jerry & Mary (Haggarty) Porter whom both survive in Bellefontaine. Other survivors include a brother, Sean (Jennifer) Porter of Everett, Washington; niece, Madaline Porter; several aunts including, Kathy Szarejko of East LeRoy, Michigan, Carol Jago of Waynesville, Ohio; several cousins and a very good friend, Donna Ewing of Bellefontaine.

He worked as a security guard with Acrux Security and was a 1992 graduate of Bellefontaine High School. He liked the outdoors including fishing and boating. He also enjoyed science fiction.

Pastor Don Byard will officiate a funeral service on Sunday, January 3, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, Bellefontaine, where friends may call two hours prior to the service. Burial will be in Bellefontaine Cemetery.

Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, Bellefontaine assisted the family with arrangements.
