Sally McQuown

Biography

Sally E. McQuown, 75, of Belle Center passed away Saturday evening, March 12, 2016 at Mary Rutan Hospital.

She was born in Hardin County on June 4, 1940 to the late Merlin Edgar and Margaret J. (Flowers) Chamberlin. Sally married Ronald Eugene McQuown on June 21, 1997 in Gatlinburg, Tennessee and he preceded her in death on October 15, 2005. She was also preceded in death by brothers Coral Chamberlin and Robert Chamberlain, and sisters Audrey Stauffer, Margaret Foreman, Norma “June” Bair and Betty L. Fry.

Sally worked as a nurses’ assistant for many years. She was a member of Bethany Church of Christ in Kettering.

Sally is survived by her son Jeff Schertzer of Belle Center; six grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, Belle Center on Tuesday, March 15, 2016 from 5-7pm. Pastor John Watkins will officiate the funeral service on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at 11am at the funeral home. Burial will be in Fairview-McDonald Cemetery.
