Sally Zupp

Biography

Sara Jane “Sally” Zupp, age 90, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away Thursday afternoon, November 6, 2014 at Heartland of Bellefontaine.

She was born in Rushsylvania, Ohio March 10, 1924, to the late Ned and Ruth (Stevenson) Paxson. On September 8, 1946, Sally married George Warren Zupp in Belle Center, Ohio and he preceded her in death July 7, 2011.

Sally is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Robin and Jim Hesson of Ansonia, Ohio; a sister and brother-in-law, Pat and Phyl Newman of Bellefontaine; a grandson, Matt (Lisa) Forney of Dublin, Ohio; great-grandchildren, Austin and Dylan Forney; and several nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.

Sally worked several years for the Logan County Auditor’s Office. She then went to work as a dispatcher for Post #46 of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, where she retired from in 1989. Sally was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church in Bellefontaine and a life-member of the American Legion.

It was Sally’s wishes that there be no services.

The staff of the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine assisted the family with the arrangements.
