Saneth L. Carter, age 94, of Lansing, Michigan and formerly of Bellefontaine, Ohio passed away Thursday, November 16, 2017 at the Brookdale Delta Care Center in Lansing.
She was born in West Mansfield, Ohio December 22, 1922, a daughter of the late Adrian and Cora Mae (Williams) Stanley.
On October 7, 1939, she married Irvin W. Carter in Richmond, Indiana and he preceded her in death January 29, 1994. She was also preceded in death by a son, Douglas W. Carter; a granddaughter, Amanda Marie Carter Horn; two sisters and two brothers.
Saneth is survived by a daughter, Pamela (Terry) Fults of Lansing; three grandsons, Erick (Nicole) Carter, Dustin (Paige) and Tyler Fults and four great grandchildren.
Along with her husband Irvin, they owned and operated the Standard Oil Bulk Plant in Bellefontaine for thirty four years. She was a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church in Bellefontaine where she was active with the Deborah Circle. She was also a member of the Eastern Star and King’s Daughters. She enjoyed spending time with her family and visiting friends. She loved to bake and share with others, especially during the holidays.
Pastor Bryan Meadows will officiate the funeral service Monday, November 20, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Bellefontaine. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the funeral service at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Bellefontaine Cemetery.
The staff of the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Bellefontaine assisted the family with the arrangements.
