Sarah Zimmerman

Sarah A. Zimmerman, 87, of Quincy, Ohio, passed away at 7:15 A.M. Monday, May 28, 2012, at Heartland of Bellefontaine. She was born in Milford Center, Ohio March 5, 1925, to the late John Ray and Hattie Esther (Disbro) Butler.

On December 3, 1950, she married Allengar Eugene Zimmerman and he preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by a son, John Ray Zimmerman and a brother, Aaron Butler.

She is survived by her daughter, Esther Triplett of DeGraff, Ohio; six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; a brother, Tim (Eleanor) Butler of Marysville, Ohio; a daughter-in-law, Veronica Lou Zimmerman of Quincy; a sister-in-law, Martha Butler of North Lewisburg, Ohio; numerous nieces and nephews, and a good friend Lillian.

A homemaker, Sarah was a member of the Church of Christ in Christian Union in Quincy.

The funeral service will be conducted Thursday, May 31, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at the Church of Christ in Christian Union in Quincy with Rev. Bob Long officiating. Calling hours are Wednesday May 30, 2012 from 4 to 8 P.M. at the church and one hour prior to the funeral Thursday, May 31. 2012. Interment will follow the funeral service at the Fairview Cemetery in Quincy.

The funeral arrangements were handled by the staff of the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine.
