Saundra Myers

Saundra M. Myers, 68, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away on Monday, February 23, 2009, at her residence. She was born in Bellefontaine on September 5, 1940 to the late Donald W. & Donna Mae (Norris) Wilgus.

On February 24, 1984, she married Jesse C. Myers in Bellefontaine and he preceded her in death on November 17, 2005. She is also preceded in death by a step-son, Paul Thomas Myers and two infant brothers.

Surviving are 3 daughters, Phyllis (Terry) Rittenhouse, Joyce Goings both of Urbana, Ohio, and Virginia “Ginny” Withers of Bellefontaine; 1 step-son, W. Michael Myers of Lakeview, Ohio; 6 brothers, Phillip Donald (Kathy) Wilgus of Columbus, Ohio, James (Sue) Wilgus, John Richard (Laura) Wilgus, Byron Lee (Janet) Wilgus, Charles LeRoy (Sandy) Wilgus, & David Noel Wilgus all of Bellefontaine; 2 sisters, Patricia and Rebecca Jane Wilgus both of Bellefontaine; and 4 grandchildren, Lee and Renee Rittenhouse, Andrew Goings and Samantha Ann Withers-Harman.

A homemaker, she was a member of the North Mother’s Club in Urbana and the Urbana PTA. An avid reader, she loved to bowl and crochet.

Pastor Mary Lou Riggle will conduct the funeral service at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, February 28, 2009, at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine, where calling hours will be Friday, February 27, 2009 from 5 to 8 P. M. Burial will be in the Highland Memorial Cemetery, West Liberty, Ohio.
