Sharon K. (Berry) Greer

Sharon K. (Berry) Greer, 79, of Huntsville, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, December 22, 2022, at the Logan Acres Care Center. She was born in Bellefontaine, Ohio on February 20, 1943, the only child of Clarence Melvin and Alice Mary (Thompson) Berry. On February 14, 1965, she married James M. Greer, and he preceded her in death on September 13, 2016.

Sherry and Jim loved to travel the country in their RV, making friends wherever they went. Her favorite pastime was quilting. She made many beautiful quilts, table runners and wall hangings over the years. She always enjoyed spending time with her friends and neighbors in the Bell Addition.

Sherry was a graduate of Zanesfield High School. Following graduation, she started her successful career at Western and Southern Life Insurance Company as a secretary for 38 years, from 1961 until 1999 in the Bellefontaine Office.

She is survived by several cousins, extended family members and friends.

Her loved ones would like to extend a special thank you to the administration and to the staff on Rushcreek Hall at Logan Acres for their compassion, professionalism, and care during Sherry’s stay.

Pastor Rose Michael will officiate a funeral service at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at Eichholtz Daring and Sanford Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 321 N Main Street, Bellefontaine, Ohio 43311. Visitation will be two hours prior from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Huntsville Cemetery.
