Sharon K. Burchett

Sharon K. Burchett, age 65, of DeGraff, Ohio passed away at 1:22 P.M. Monday, November 19, 2018 at home surrounded by her family.

She was born in Bellefontaine, Ohio January 7, 1953, to the late LaVerne Haney and Hazel L. (Heil) Williams. In addition to her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Brown; two sisters-in-law, Carol Williams and Jackie Wooldridge, and three brothers-in-law, Ralph Faulder, John Lee Burchett, and Steve Rhoads.

On June 3, 1972, Sharon married the love of her life Samuel M. Burchett, and he survives along with their two children, Stacey M. Burchett of Findlay, Ohio and Samuel Travis (Kristin) Burchett of DeGraff; six grandchildren, Aaron (LaRanda Pickering) Jenkins of Bellefontaine, Ohio, Chelsea Jenkins of Findlay, Jayden Burchett, Dylyn Burchett, Maddax Burchett, and Preston Burchett, all of DeGraff; a great grandson, Dawson Jenkins; two sisters, Marjorie Faulder of DeGraff and Donna Williams of Jackson Center, Ohio; two brothers, Donald Williams of Quincy, Ohio and Ronald (Arlene) Williams of Sidney, Ohio; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Jack Brown of Belle Center, Ohio, Tom and Connie Lykins, Jim and Vicki Burchett, Dick and Kaye Burchett, Linda Rhoads, Roger and Sheila Brown, and Larry and Cindy Wooldridge; her special friend, Patty Spaulding and many beloved nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

Sharon had worked at Mid-States in DeGraff, Holloway in Jackson Center, Drackett in Urbana, Ohio before retiring from Playtex in Sidney, Ohio. She enjoyed sewing and bird watching, especially hummingbirds. Sharon loved celebrating Halloween and Christmas with her family. Her grandchildren and great grandson filled her heart with joy.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 P.M. and 6 to 8 P.M. Friday, November 23, 2018 at the Daring & Sanford Funeral Home in DeGraff.

Pastor Rob Starnes will officiate the funeral service at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, November 24, 2018 at the funeral home.

Burial will follow the funeral service at the Greenwood-Union Cemetery in DeGraff.

The arrangements are in the care of the staff of the Daring & Sanford Funeral Home in DeGraff.
