Sharon Fay Norviel Zimmerman

Sharon Fay Norviel Zimmerman, 73, of Bellefontaine, passed away on Sunday morning, February 11, 2024, at her residence.

She was born in Dayton, Ohio on November 25, 1950, the daughter of the late Willard “Bill” and Fayetta “Fay” (Lorton) Preston.

She is survived by her three children: Stacy (Paul Pride) McKinney, Scott (Holly) Norviel, and Tim (Lori Kent) Norviel, her grandchildren, Rhiane (Matt Rowe) Titus, Connor (Kayla) Norviel, Keifer (Kara) Titus, Taylor (Nate) McCoart, Aiden Hartley, Kelly (Kenzie) Kent, and Kyle Kent, her great grandchildren, Kennedy, Tily, Cora, Wren, Remington, Sutton, Oliver, and Lark, two sisters, Billie Jo Stewart, Michell (Larry) Jones, a brother, Steve Preston, and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Sharon always put her family first in all she did and was affectionately known as Gigi.  She was active with her church and within the Bellefontaine Christian community. She was a huge Elvis fan, with annual trips to Graceland.  She loved nature, especially birds and flowers, and enjoyed traveling.

She was the ultimate sports fan and enjoyed watching her kids and grandkids play a multitude of sports. Her children have fond memories of dancing and playing with her throughout their childhood years and hold those memories dear. She spent countless hours playing with her beloved great grandchildren.

Her children want to voice that she was the best mother, grandmother, and Gigi that a family was ever blessed to have. Her undying love and loyalty can never be matched.

Friends and family are invited to visitation from 1 until 5 p.m. on Sunday, February 25, 2024, in the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 321 N. Main St. Bellefontaine, Ohio 43311.  Memorial services will be held privately.  

Memorial contributions may be given to any charity of the donor’s choosing or consider performing a random act of kindness for someone in Sharon’s memory.
