Sharon K. Reames, 69, of Bellefontaine, went to be with the Lord at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at Logan Acres Care Center.
She was born in Hardin County, Ohio on November 20, 1945, a daughter of the late Wilbur and Helen (Line) Reames. After the passing of her parent’s, Sharon went to live with George and Deanna Holycross of Bellefontaine for 27 years.
She is survived by a brother, Larry (Cindy Crawford) Reames of Bellefontaine and several cousins including Debbie Copas of Quincy, Patty Brown of Huntsville, Kevin Holycross of Lewistown, Kyle Brown of Huntsville, Melissa Copas of Quincy and Doug Copas of DeGraff. .
She attended Church of Christ in Christian Union and the McBeth School. She worked at Ross Training Center for several years and also worked at CTS in West Liberty.
A member of the Little People of America, she enjoyed traveling and the Cleveland Browns and The Ohio State Buckeyes. She participated in the Special Olympics, softball, bowling and etc. She enjoyed being with friends and family and appreciated all her friends that helped in her daily needs. She attended Art Class in Bellefontaine and enjoyed drawing.
Pastor David Glauner will officiate a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 31, 2015 at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, Bellefontaine. Friends may call on Sunday, August 30, 2015 from 2 to 5 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, West Liberty.
