Sherry Barton

Sherry Kay Barton, 57, of Lakeview, Ohio, passed away at her residence on Sunday, July 26, 2009.

She was born on October 16, 1951, in Bellefontaine, Ohio, to Charles M. and Rosemary L. (Barker) Barton who survive in Bellefontaine. Also surviving is a brother, Jeffrey C. (Nicole) Barton of Bellefontaine and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Jacalyn A. Barton Wilcoxon, who passed away on April 22, 2007.

A 1970 graduate of Bellefontaine High School, Sherry was an employee of Honda Transmission in Russells Point, Ohio. She was a member of the Indian Lake Elks Club and was an avid Cleveland Browns fan.

Calling hours are Friday, July 31, 2009, from 5 P.M. to 8 P.M. at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine. Pastor C.J. Plogger will conduct the funeral service at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, August 1, 2009, at the First Church of God in Bellefontaine. Burial will follow the funeral service in the Highland Memorial Cemetery in West Liberty, Ohio.
