Shirley Holycross

Shirley Christine Holycross, 57, of DeGraff, Ohio passed away Monday, May 14, 2012 at Lima Memorial Hospital in Lima, Ohio.

She was born November 8, 1954 in Quincy, Illinois to Robert S. and Shirley (Hooley) Brown who survive in DeGraff.

On August 18, 1973 she married Steven Holycross in DeGraff, and he survives along with four sons, Steven Holycross, Jr. of DeGraff, Greg Holycross of DeGraff, Jeremy Holycross of Russells Point, Ohio and Ryan (Amber) Holycross of DeGraff; a daughter, Julie Holycross of Bellefontaine, Ohio; a brother, Danny (Karen) Brown of Lakeview, Ohio; three grandchildren, Alexa, Kandas & Kaylee Holycross, and several nieces and nephews.

Shirley was a waitress at the Red Lantern and Aunt Millie’s Restaurants and was a teacher’s aid at the Mac-O-Chee Learning Center in Bellefontaine.

The funeral service conducted by Pastor Jeffory Willetts will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, May 18, 2012 at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine, where calling hours are from 5 to 8 P.M. Thursday, May 17, 2012. Interment will be at the Greenwood-Union Cemetery in DeGraff, Ohio.
