Stella Nevers
Stella M. Nevers, 94, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away Monday, July 30, 2012 at Heartland of Bellefontaine. She was born July 18, 1918 in Champaign County Ohio, to the late Moffett and Clara (Legge) Brown.
On January 7, 1934, she married Charles T. Nevers in DeGraff, Ohio, and he preceded her in death June 10, 1988. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Geraldine Kelsey, a sister and six brothers.
Surviving are her children, Clara Mae Mangen of Greenville, Ohio; Thomas L. and William R. (Carol) Nevers, both of Bellefontaine; a son-in-law, Richard Kelsey of Gaylord, Michigan; a sister-in-law, Betty Smith of West Liberty, Ohio; eleven grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, and several great-great grandchildren; nieces and nephews, Judy (Bud) Alexander of Bellefontaine, Dixie Idle of Rosewood, Ohio and Dan (Patricia) Nevers of Bellefontaine.
Stella was a homemaker and had a love for birds and feeding them. She also loved to collect holstein cow figurines and had a large collection.
Pastor F. Michael Valentine will officiate the 2:00 P.M. funeral service Wednesday, August 1, 2012, at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine, where friends may call from 12 noon to 2 P.M. prior to the service. Interment will be at the Rushsylvania Cemetery in Rushsylvania, Ohio following the service.
