Stephen S. Tusberg, 46, of Pickerington, passed away at 4:10 p.m. on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at Mt. Carmel East, Columbus. He was born in Columbus, Ohio on November 4, 1970 to Allen and Linda (Mosier) Tusberg, who survive in Pickerington.
He is also survived by a sister, Barbara (Dan) Burdett of Bremen, Ohio; a brother, Michael (Hallie) Tusberg of Olmsted Falls, Ohio; nieces and nephews, Harrison, Ethan, Nate, Owen, Luke, Emmy, David, Drake, Deanna, and Danielle; his maternal grandmother, Jeanette Mosier of Bellefontaine; aunts, Sharon (Sam) Goodman of Prestonsburg, Kentucky and Connie Keels of Bellefontaine; girlfriend of 15 years, Linda Cornett of Groveport, Ohio; her family, Tracey Hughey, Ralph Vinson, Dannie Cornett, Paul “Bookie” Cornett, Tiffany Cornett, Nicholas Cornett, Jenna Cornett, and Jessa Cornett, Brittany and Abby Hughey; and his best “four legged” friend, Duke.
A sister, Karen Sue Tusberg; and grandfathers, Leslie Mosier and Homer Bragg preceded Stephen in death.
Stephen graduated from Bexley High School in 1989. He loved all sports, especially baseball. Stephen was an avid Miami Dolphins fan. He enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, gardening, Memphis BBQ, and whitewater rafting. Stephen loved to be with his nieces and nephews. All who loved him will dearly miss him.
Pastor Jeff Willetts will officiate a funeral service at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, 321 N. Main Street, Bellefontaine. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Bellefontaine Cemetery.
