Steve Meadows

Steve Maurice Meadows, 49, of Marysville, Ohio, passed away at 5:39 A.M. Monday, January 11, 2011 at the Dayton V.A. Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio. He was born in Detroit, Michigan August 3, 1961, to Jesse Meadows of Marysville, Washington, and Desiree (step-father, Curtis) McGhee of Talladega, Alabama.

Survivors include his wife, Jacqueline (Waters) Meadows; a son, Brett Meadows of Marysville; a daughter, Britney Meadows of Wilmington, Ohio; brothers, Darrin (Roberta) Meadows of Bellefontaine, Ohio and Cedric McGhee of Dayton; sisters, Jessica (Quantez) Gurley of Marysville, Washington and Cheryl (David) McFarland of Helena, Alabama; three nieces, Briyanna, Akievia and Brooklyn and four nephews, Brandon, Anfernee, Cirrahn and Bronx.

He was an electrician and a veteran of the United States Navy. He was also a member of the Christ Temple Church in Bellefontaine and enjoyed music especially playing congas, bass guitar and singing. He also enjoyed jazz music and spending time with family and friends.

The funeral service will be held July 4, 2011 in Talladega, Alabama.
