Steven Bogardus

Steven (Steve) Bogardus, 62, of Bellefontaine, passed away in his sleep at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at the home of his brother Michael Bogardus.

Steve was born on September 18, 1953 to the late Richard and Betty (Lee) Bogardus. He was an avid fisherman all of his life. He was a skilled artistic auto body technician and enjoyed working on classic cars. In younger days he toured the U.S. on his Harley Davidson. In his later years, he was selflessly dedicated to being a grandfather to his grandson Brooks.

Steve is survived by his brothers Michael Bogardus, and James (Lindy) Bogardus; his grandson Brooks Garber (Amanda); his nieces Brianne Bogardus, Sarah Bogardus, Elizabeth Patrick, and Michelle (Mark) Weber; his sister Vanora (Michael) Patrick preceded him in death.

A small memorial service will be held in his honor on Saturday, April 16th from 2:00 – 5:00pm at Cafe 212 in Bellefontaine.
