Steven P. Fahle, age 59, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away Thursday, July 24, 2014 at his home.
He was born in Bellefontaine August 31, 1954, to the late Russel E. and Rosella L. (Zachariah) Fahle. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Teresa Joan Fahle July 4, 2010.
Steve is survived by his wife Brenda (Pile) Fahle, whom he married October 18, 1980 in Bellefontaine. He is also survived by his children, Steven P. (Chare’) Fahle, Jr. of Rushsylvania, Ohio, Ryan J. (Randi) Fahle of Zanesfield, Ohio and Kimberley S. Fahle of Marysville, Ohio; grandchildren, Gavin D. Fahle, Davontae L. Fahle, Willow M. Fahle, Obadiah B. Fahle and Avery R. Fahle.
A 1972 graduate of Bellefontaine High School, Steve worked ten years at Rockwell in Bellefontaine then retired in 2013 as a Staff Engineer at Honda of America Manufacturing in Marysville, Ohio after thirty years. He was a family man and enjoyed using his many skills and talents to help family and friends.
In his spare time, Steve volunteered at the Logan County EMA and was a HAM radio operator. He was a member of the Champaign Logan County Amatuer Radio Club and the Hi-Point Church of Christ in Bellefontaine.
Pastor Mike Sandlin will officiate the funeral service Tuesday, July 29, 2014, at 10 A.M. at the Hi Point Church of Christ where visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at the Middleburg Cemetery in Middleburg, Ohio.
The staff of the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine assisted the family with the arrangements.
