Sue Ellen Hunkler, 67, of DeGraff passed away Friday, November 20, 2015 as a result of an automobile accident near Lewistown.
She was born in Dayton, Ohio on November 5, 1948, the daughter of the late Elwood C. Gau and Lois C. (Harroll) Gau, who survives in Union, Ohio.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by one daughter, Melanie (Wallace) Easter of Rushsylvania and a son, Greg (Amanda) Hunkler of DeGraff, six grandchildren, one great grandchild, one aunt, Joy Martin of Union, OH, several nieces and nephews and her significant other, Edward Hunkler of DeGraff.
She was preceded in death by an aunt, Jeanne Hubbard.
Sue was a 1967 graduate of Northmont High School and had worked for McDonald’s for more than 31 years, most recently working at the Bellefontaine North restaurant. She enjoyed bowling, swimming and riding bicycles, but she really loved to shop. She was always upbeat and friendly and would do anything for anybody.
Pastor John James will officiate a funeral service on Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at 11:00 am at the Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, 210 W. Hayes St. DeGraff. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4 to 8 pm at the funeral home in DeGraff. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memory Garden, Tipp City.
