Susan Kay Lasure

Susan Kay (Shipp) Lasure, age 62, of Harrod, Ohio passed away at 10:01 A.M. Sunday, August 26, 2018 at her residence. She was born in Kenton, Ohio October 22, 1955, to the late Don Shipp and Virginia D. (Dugan) Ray. Susan was also preceded in death by her stepfather, William Ray; a son, Keith Lasure and brothers, Eddie Shipp, and David Ray.

She is survived by her children, Amy Guyton, Alan (Stephanie) Nichols, and Amy Lasure; grandchildren, Markus, Molly, Ruby, and Elizabeth; sisters, Lynda (Butch) Price, Diane Shipp, and Brenda Ray; a brother, Jerry (Linda) Shipp; a sister-in-law, Shelly Ray and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Susan graduated from Upper Scioto Valley High School in 1973.  She was a transportation facilitator, school bus driver, and driving instructor.  Susan put everyone else first and family was number one. She enjoyed sewing, and taking her family on adventures. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 29, 2018 from 2 to 7 P.M. and Thursday, August 30, 2018 from 4 to 7 P.M. at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home in Belle Center, Ohio.

Pastor David Schneer will officiate the funeral service at 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 31, 2018 at the Roundhead United Methodist Church in Roundhead, Ohio.

Burial will follow the funeral service at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Harrod.

The funeral arrangements are in the care of the staff of the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home in Belle Center.
