Susan Peachey

Biography

Susan V. Peachey, 91, of Zanesfield passed away Thursday afternoon, November 5, 2015.

She was born in Logan County on June 5, 1924 to the late Clem and Myrtle (Ritter) Mabry. Susan married Richard R. Peachey on September 13, 1941 in Kentucky and he preceded her in death on January 23, 2004. She was also preceded in death by a daughter Barbara Casto, sister Vivian Sharon and a brother Bob Mabry.

Susan was the head cook at Benjamin Logan Schools for thirty-three years. She enjoyed gardening and was a member of the Zanesfield Worthwhile Club.

Susan is survived by her daughter Sandra Jo (Phillip) Stoner of West Liberty; son Mark R. Peachey of Hilliard, son-in-law Richard Casto of Edison; six grandchildren: Linda (Joe) Davenport, Jeffrey (Kelli) Stoner, Cindy (Charles) Estep, Scott (Katie) Peachey, Randy Casto and Amy Scott; eight great-grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren; two brothers: Gerald Mabry of Centerburg, Ohio and Jim Mabry of Bellefontaine.

Pastor Wayne Downing will officiate the funeral service on Monday, November 9, 2015 at 1pm at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, Bellefontaine where visitation will be held two hours prior to the service. Burial will be in Zanesfield Cemetery.
