T. Wayne King, 77, of Bellefontaine, passed away in the woods enjoying his passion on Thursday, December 3, 2015 in Bellefontaine.

He was born on April 9, 1938, in West Liberty, a son of the late Ted and Pauline (Circle) King. He was also preceded in death by an infant son, Ricky Lynn King and a brother, John P. King.

On May 29, 1957 in Bellefontaine, he married the former Beverly Hill and she survives in Bellefontaine along with a daughter, Susan (Russ) Kear of Massillon, Ohio, Steve (Lynne) King of Cumming, Georgia, Greg King of London, Ohio, John (Leslie) King of Sylvania, Ohio; grandchildren, Holly & Ryan Kear, Ashley (Adam) King-Simon, Steven King, Gregory King, Geoffrey (Katie) King, Garrett King, Kelsey, Madi, Laney and Jordan King; sister, Phyllis Moore of Belle Center; brothers, Dale (Janice) King and Larry (Joyce) King both of Bellefontaine.

He was a member of the First Christian Church in Bellefontaine, where he was an Elder, choir member & Fidelis Class. He was also a member of the West Liberty & Bellefontaine Lodge F&AM where he was a 33rd Degree Mason. He was an avid hunter of deer and turkey and he also enjoyed fishing. He also enjoyed gardening and was known for his botanical skills. A former barbershop singer for several years, he was most caring and generous person and passed that onto his family.

Pastor F. Michael Valentine will officiate a funeral service at 12 Noon on Monday, December 7, 2015 at the First Christian Church, Bellefontaine. Friends may call on Sunday, December 6, 2015 from 2 to 5 p.m. with a Masonic Service beginning at 5:00 p.m. at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, 321 North Main Street, Bellefontaine. Private burial will take place at Fairview Cemetery, West Liberty.

Memorial Contributions can be made to the First Christian Church, 215 East Sandusky Ave, Bellefontaine, Ohio 43311 or the Logan County Cancer Society c/o Mary Rutan Foundations, 205 Palmer Avenue, Bellefontaine, Ohio 43311.

Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, Bellefontaine assisted the family with arrangements.
