Teresa Kay Coldiron

Teresa Kay (Vance) Coldiron, 74, of Rushsylvania, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 30, 2025, at Ayden Health Care of Belle Springs in Bellefontaine. She was born in Kenton, Ohio on April 30, 1950, to the late Wallace Leroy and Annamae (O’Brien) Vance Hoon. She is also preceded in death by her stepfather Goering Lane; her sister-in-law, Cheri Vance and brother-in-law, Robert Spriggs.

She leaves behind her children: Barb (Mike) Batton of Bellefontaine, Wallace “Wally” (Melanie) Easter of Rushsylvania, and Tricia (Danny) Springs of Marysville; grandchildren: Jonathan (Chelsea) Hillery, Matthew (Samantha) Hillery, Jessica (Willie) Hillery, Tyler (Kylie) Easter, Weston (Liz) Easter, Andrea Easter, Mason Springs, Mya Springs, and Moses Springs; great grandchildren: Karmella, Maximus, Lillie, Chasen, Holden, McKenlee, Paisley, Ayla, Dawson, Grace, Phoebe, Hudson, Watson, and Cecilia; sister, Sandy Spriggs of Bellefontaine; brother, Tony W. Vance of Rushsylvania; nieces: Sarah, Christina, Molly, and Paula and nephews: Paul and Luke.

Teresa was a member of the Rushsylvania Church of Christ and the Bellefontaine VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She was a babysitter for many years and enjoyed playing board games. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Teresa was loved by many at the nursing home and made many friends with the staff and residents. She found joy in doing crafts and playing BINGO and encouraging others.

Pastor John James will officiate a funeral service at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 321 N. Main Street, Bellefontaine. Visitation will be two hours prior from 10:00 to 12:00 at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service in Rushsylvania Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the staff at Ayden Health Care of Belle Springs for all the love and care they gave Teresa.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Logan County Cancer Society c/o Mary Rutan Foundations, 205 Palmer Ave, Bellefontaine, Ohio 43311.
